This is one of the best post I ever read on how to use facebook for generating blog traffic.

For me,Facebook is the 1st source of traffic to my blog.Around 45% of my traffic is from Facebook. If used properly then we can get a huge amount of traffic(Even more than Organice Traffic) from Facebook.

    Thanks a lot Arun !!

    Hi Arun

Excellent post on using facebook. One of the best I’ve ever read (and there are a lot of them out there).

The only tip I might question is the sharing of posts in groups. While I agree that someone joins a group because of their interest in the subject matter, and you certainly should share tips and content that are relevant and that pertain to the group, I see nothing wrong with sharing something that might be of interest to others in the group that’s not related. If done sparingly and you give a reason why you are sharing it. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the tips. I intend to use them.

Hey Donald, thanks for your kind compliments. Hmm… your suggestion is thought provoking one. Sharing a post in a group, that is not related to the niche of the group often angers the members.

They treat it like spamming. I think that one you gain the respect and trust of the group members, we can share non niche posts too. Just my thought.

I agree Arun – you would have to establish yourself first – most definitely. And it would have to be USEFUL.

        Thanks Arun,

    Hey Arun,

I’ve never really given much thought of diving into FB marketing.
Twitter works for me and for now I like the moral there. It’s all about information, FB is a bit about :” Please tell me I’m important. !” – you know what I mean.

    great insights though !

      Hi Isaiah,

True that bro! The last think we’d want is to have us blocked and our links marked spam! It has happened with me, when I started promoting content a bit too aggressively :)

Outstanding tips! Each one is vital for the successful of good Facebook campaign. Facebook traffic is relative easier and if done correctly, it can offer you some charm.

Finding right time is very important to get anything out of Facebook or any other social network. Because people from the whole globe are in these networks, you should find the best time slot when people interested in your niche are present.

Also, a huge thanks for the mention and the link to the group :)

True that Suresh Sir, driving traffic from facebook is ‘relatively’ easier. Obviously, timing the post to ‘perfection’ is necessary. And the key to it, I think, is knowing the facebook using pattern of the audience.

Mere observation can point out valuable info like time when most people are active and online etc.

About the group, I felt that it should get mentioned here. CommentDX is how a group should be. The way you moderate it is the key to its ‘activeness’. Thanks for creating the group :)

    Hey Arun,

Another compelling write-up from your end. I wonder how you are able to keep churning out quality post. Any tips?

Speaking of, Facebook is surely a means of getting traffic and yes…quality and targeted traffics to ones blog. This is an incredible tips from you boss!

recently, Facebook outshine and overtook Twitter from the list of the refferal traffics to my blog, thanks to facebook groups, especially CommentDX and I would be writing about it on my blog soon. So watch out!

I love the way with which you have tackled this subject matter, Arun and it’s quite different from others have read in the past. very understandable and reasonable as well. I love the part of creating an interesting and engaging “Fan Page”. I’m already doing part of the things you enlisted but I will make sure I up my game a little more.

Thanks for sharing this great and insightful post with this your massive community.

Great tips, but I am still very cautious of FB these days, especially with their admittance to making it practically impossible to get organic reach without advertising. :(

Wonderful and secretive tips to getting lots of traffic from facebook, but Arun Kallarackal, did you noticed that sharing your blog posts too much on several facebook pages/groups and your very own timeline will get your url banned? and no url shortener can help.

Thanks for the tips Arun Kallarackal, i do appreciate it.
